Choosing the University’s Penryn campus to study my Environmental Science degree was the best decision I have ever made. The enthusiasm of the lecturers here is infectious, you can't help but be inspired. The friendliness of all the students and staff here was a big deciding factor me, I instantly felt at home. It wasn't only my degree programme, all the activities and opportunities which were available to me during my time at Penryn were invaluable. Take advantage of every chance you get. At the campus here, there is so much to do, it's just waiting for you to say yes to.”

The city of Exeter is really beautiful and historical – history is hidden everywhere. People are very friendly and welcoming, you feel like it’s your city and it becomes home really quickly.

I moved to Devon a year ago for a new role at the University of Exeter, helping to deliver the Arts and Culture strategy. I have found it to be an amazing place to live and work. There is so much creativity here – from the quality of the research and teaching to the commitment to student experience and community engagement. Our team aims to ‘place creativity at the heart of all we think, imagine and do together’, so we have a good head start. We want our activity to reach as many people as possible, both inside and outside the University.
